Shanxi - Datong hiking tour (further questions)

Hi, thanks for the clarifications. Would appreciate if you can elaborate further on the datong to mt wutai coaches' schedule. In the narration above (2nd para), it stipulates that the journey to mt wutai from hunyuan bus station can be made after visiting the hanging monastery. But based on your time table whereby there is only 2 time slots to go to mt wutai from datong, (7:30 am and 9:30 am). Does this mean that I must finish my hanging monastery visit by 9:30 am so that I may catch the coach to mt. wutai ?. Otherwise, I would need to stay another night at datong before travelling to mt wutai in the next morning.

The buses from Hunyuan to Mt. Wutai are very limited and not stable, it is not available sometimes. So I suggest you transfer back to Datong and then take the coach from Datong to Mt. Wutai directly. The buses are available at around 07:30 from south bus station and 09:30 from bus station. This is my opinion, hope it is helpful.
