To transit by China should have to get China visa or not necessary?

I have Taiwan Visa and I will travel by China Southern Airlines And I have to transit by China, Transition time is 3 hours, my question to transit by China should I have to need China visa?

If you stay at the airport transit area, no visa will be required.
