Applying For Visa. If my Bf give me Invitation Letter does he need to pay money or use some agent?

Hi,
Im from Philippines. Currently I'm working here in Singapore. Next year I have plan to visit my Bf in China Dalain. He was Pure Chinese. The Embassy here in Singapore told me that I will ask my Bf to give me Invitation Letter (one of the requirements they needed for applying Visa ). I just want to ask if my Bf give me Invitation Letter does he need to pay money or use some agent. Please Help. Thank you

Why? The invitation letter is provided by your Bf, not any agent. Why should he pay for it or ask help from an agent? He can provide it for you all by himself. The letter should state your basic info, the purpose of travel and duration of stay in China and his basic info, etc.
