Is it ok if a New Zealander to apply Egyptian Tourist visa in Shanghai?

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a New Zealander, holding New Zealand passport, spending holiday now in China now. But I hope to go to Egypt for sightseeing next month, from 12 Dec to 22 Dec.

Can I apply this Egyptian tourist visa in Egypt Consulate in Shanghai? How long does it take? What requirements are needed?

Thank you very much.

You can't apply for Egyptian tourist visa in Egypt Consulate in Shanghai because you are in China on vacation. You don't work or reside in China, you can't provide a document to prove you are a legal long-term resident.
