accommodation in huangshan on top of the mountain

Question

Hi guys,My friends and I are planning a trip to Huangshan and we are trying to find accommodation on top of the mountain to see the sunrise. But we are not sure how to tell which hotels or youth hostels are on top of the mountain.Also, if we are not staying on top of the mountain, does that mean we won't be able to see the sunrise?Thanks in advance for your help!Cheers,Xin

You can stay at Haiyun Lou Hotel You can walk about 20 minutes to Danxia Peak for the sunrise or 40 minutes to Shizi Peak for the sunrise. The hotel will report the time in the afternoon for next sunrise. You have to stay on the top of the mountain.
