About:China Visa Application in USA

what is the earliest date to get a 3 month visa if I am planning to enter china on april 15th 2012 ?

You'd better apply for it 1-2 months ahead of your departure date. It usually takes 4 working days to process a visa. And the visa will be valid for 3 months starting the issuing date.
