About:Passport

Validity of passport for visitor into HK

Most countries require 6 months validity but Hong Kong Tourism Board's website indicated only 1 month for visitors into HK. I m a Singapore Permanent Resident with a Malaysian passport. I ll be arriving HK this thu but my passport expires in Feb 2012.

Your passport should also be valid for at least 30 days when you leave Hong Kong. Malaysia passport holders are allowed to stay in hong Kong for at most 90 days without a visa. To avoid any trouble, your passport should be valid at least for 120 days on the day when you enter Hong Kong.
