how can i obtain a tourist visa as a student

I am a student at one of the universities in Ghana. I want to make a trip to China during this christmas holiday. What are the requirements? And on more serious note, it is my parents who are sponsoring me. Also, what if I am a student and at the same time a worker applying for tourist visa?

You can apply for a tourist visa, the requirements are :1. your passport 2. one passport photo 3. complete China visa application form V.2011A 4. at least 3 months bank statement of your parents 5. the round-trip flight tickets or booking 6. hotel reservation
