How to get there in Dec since no direct bus? Do you know what time the bus leaves and about how long

Prepare 3-4 hours on the road from downtown Beijing to Jinshanling by bus. Generally, there are two options:
1. Take bus 980 from Dongzhimen Long-distance Station (Dongzhimen Wai Xiejie) to Miyun, then hire a local mini van to Jinshanling. This way is faster but more expensive. The mini van rental may costs 100-200RMB.
2. Take Beijing-Chengdu regular bus at Liuliqiao coach Center and get off at Jinshanling Lukou. Then walk or find bus or taxi to go to the entrance, for it is just a couple of kilometers. That is not a direct bus so you should ask the driver when you should get off.
