About:Chinese Embassy in South Africa

SA Citizen want to apply for China visa in Hong Kong

I am planning to travel to Hong Kong on 1 Nov - I understand I do not need visa for short visit (1-3days), but would then like to go into China for 5 days to visit Shanghai and Beijing - Can I apply for the China visa in Hong Kong

South African passport holders can stay in Hong Kong for at most 30 days without a visa.
However, you cannot get a China visa in Hong Kong. You'd better get one in your country in advance.
