Info about Shenzhen

I hold Australian passport. I will be going to HK first. To enter Shenzhen,
1. From HK airport, what is the best way to get to Shenzhen. I will be staying at crown plaza.
2. Can I get visa on arrival?
3. Is it safe to walk around Shenzhen?
4. What is the weather like in early nov?
