About:Chinese Embassies in Asia

Can I get a 6 month multiple entry tourist visa? Do I need a return air ticket?

In China I will buy the return ticket for exiting China after I'm in China.

You can try to apply for a 6 months multiple entry tourist visa, the return air ticket is not mandatory, however, I hear that now it is hard for USA citizen to get a multiple entry visa.
