Visa fee should be paid after application accepted. The Chinese Consulate-General in Johnnesburg will not accept cash payment any more. You are required to do cash deposit or bank transfer into the consulate's account in FNB. Cheque is not acceptable. Payment must be made before the date of collection so that the consulate can verify with the transaction history of its account issued by FNB. Thus, payment on the date of collection may result in passport-releasing declined.0
