About:Marriage Registration in China

I am a Filipino and divorce . Would like to marry a Chinese Local from Jiangxi.

What documents I need to prepare? Birth certificate and Single Status Certificate. If I have a Single status Certificate then I suppose to have it authenticated by the China Enbassy/Consulate in Philippines. Then we have to apply in the Civil Affairs Bureau in Jiangxi.. Do let me know if this is the proper way. Thanks a lot.

You need to prepare passport, birth certificate and single certificate; after, transalate all of them into Chinese (except passport); have the affidavit notarised; at last, you can go to the local Civil Affairs Bureau of your Chinese GF to register the marriage. You can get this info from the ''Marriage Registration in China'' page.
