About:China Visa on Arrival

Will it be difficult to board a plane to China if I am attempting to get a visa on arrival?

I must go to China for some meetings however because of a rush and my visa status in my current country of residence, I can not apply for a typical visa.

My intention is to fly to China anyway with a letter requesting my presence to a relevant trade fair or to provide technical advisory services, both are reasonable given my line of work.

I am wondering 2 things:
1. Is this totally crazy, is there any chance it will work?
2. Will I have trouble boarding a plane to China (in this case from Taiwan) because I don't have a valid entry visa (I heard through some other articles on this site that often people with no valid visa are not allowed to board as airlines are considered responsible, in part).

it is impossible for you to get a visa on arrival in China even though you show a letter requesting your presence to a relevant trade fair or to provide technical advisory services. If you have an official letter issued by a government office which allows you to get a visa on arrival in China, you can get it.

You will have trouble boarding a plane to China (in this case from Taiwan) because you don't have a valid entry visa. You will be refused to board the plane.
