about getting tourist visa

Question

I wanted to know if I can apply for your service.  I am an American living overseas and would like a tourist visa to China.  I live in Turkey but the Chinese Consul is very far from here.

The China embassy in Turkey doesn't accept visa application by post. You may submit application in person to the embassy, if you can't come to the embassy, you can entrust someone else (your friend, travel agency or visa agency) to make it for you.
