About:Chinese Consulate in Toronto

my son is studying in winnipeg holding hksar passport, can he renew its passport in Toronto Consulate?

my son is studying in winnipeg holding hksar passport with valid student permit. his hksar is going to expire dec 2012. can he renew the hksar passport in your consulate? IF SO, WHAT IS THE APPLICATION PROCEDURE AND DOCUMENT REQUIRED?

Yes, your son can apply for Hong Kong SAR passport renewal through China consulate in Toronto.

The requirements are:
1. filled ID 843 Form or ID 844 Form (Hong Kong passport application form)
2. filled ID 853 Form (Overseas Payment Form)
3. Hong Kong Permanent Residence Card and its copy
4. one passport photo
5. his HKSAR passport and its copy
