Does an Egyptian need a visa to Hong Kong??

I am Egyptian Working In Abu Dhabi. My son was planning to go to Hong kong in a short trip with his school and we were informed that there will be no Visa required for him as Egyptian Do not require a visa to go to Hong Kong. Can you confirm this please?
