Xining to Lhasa train tickets

Can I buy our Xining to Lhasa train tickets from Beijing Railway station? Can we buy a day before our departure or on the day we leave?How do we book deluxe sleeper?

You could purchase the tickets at Beijing railway station. But it is better for you to buy them in advance since tickets are usually hard to get in China.
