About:Huangshan Mountain

Planning a trip in late december/early january to Huangshan from Hangzhou

We have a couple of questions to this:
Is the temperature tolerable?
Is it possible to hike to "the top"?
How much time should we set aside?

I guess we'll be coming from hangzhou, sow the bus should be OK way to get here.

The temperature would below zero and perhaps -10 to -15 degrees in the mountain top. No problem to hike to the top. Set aside two days one night there. Buses to Huangshan are available at Hangzhou West Coach Station. The bus to Tangkou (汤口) or 黄山景区(Huangshan Scenic Spot) is to the mountain scenic area and bus to Huangshan mean the downtown area, Tunxi.
