My boyfriend estonian nationality went to china on holiday and had some kind of visa for one week. In airport pudong he suposed to fly friday night but they didnt let him fly..not sure for what reason probably visa. last money he spent for traing to airport. during weekend he was just waiting when i sent him some money as he couldnt do anything. I dont know how much everything cost so i sent 120usd. Now i am afraid it wasnt enough for new visa and penalty...i would be gratefull for any information what to do now where to go and how much money he accually need. thank you katerina zobacova

The fine is 500 RMB per day for overstay, 5000 RMB at most for overstay no matter how many days he overstay. Can you tell me the information of your boyfriend's visa? Now, he has to surrender himself to the immigration office of Pudong airport or to the public security bureau and pay for the fine. Then he will need to go to the Exit-Entry Administrative Bureau (出入境管理处) to apply for a new visa, the visa is 10 days exit visa with star*.
