If you hold an English passport, it will cost you THB 1,100 for a single-entry and THB 1,650 for a double entry if you apply in Thailand. A single entry usually allows one to stay in China for 30 days. You can extend your visa within China twice, usually for another 30 days each time. THe requirements to apply for China tourist visa include: valid passport; visa application form V2011A and V2011B; one recent passport photo; Round-trip Airline Ticket, Hotel Booking in China, Traveler's Check or the Bank Deposit Certificate if necessary; your Thai visa or residence permit or other document to prove their legal status in Thailand; other deemed necessary documents by the embassy.
