About:Chinese Consulates in India
Im flying thro' Guangzohu to Auckland (NZ) with the flight halt of 18 hrs. Do i need a transit VISA?

No, you don't need a transit visa if you stay in the airport transit area. They may check your onward ticket to Auckland.
