About:Harbin Ice Festival

Advice on suitable clothing to the 2012 Harbin ice and snow festival

We live in a semi-tropical area and are coming to the 2012 festival. I would really appreciate some help on the most suitable attire as we have little experience of such cold weather.

The average temperature of Harbin in January is about -18 degree. Very cold! So, you need to bring thermal underwear and sweater, warm booth and down coat.

you will really experience what the word "cold" means:-) provent prostbite. warm shoes. remember this: its really cold and you never get hot regardless of many cloth. just make you feel not cold
but really nice ice city. and good place for skiing!
