About:Chinese Embassy in India

my passport is expiring on 1.3.2012 and i going to hong kong on 30.09.2011 and comming back on 5.10.

It is ok for you to hold your passport to enter Hong Kong. A passport with at least one month validity beyond the stay duration in Hong Kong is accepted by Hong Kong immigration. I mean that when you exit Hong Kong, your passport should have at least one month validity.
