You should apply for Business Visa to China. You have to provide an invitation letter of a duly authorized unit or confirmation of invitation letter. The manufacture or distributor in China should get the invitation letter for you, they can go to the Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation to get it. Covering letter from your company or employer addressed to the visa office of China embassy or consulate is also required. If you can't provide the above 2 documents, you can try to apply for a tourist visa to China, but you can't write your purpose of coming to China for business on the visa application form.
