About:Chinese Embassy in Pakistan

Is it possible to get a tourist visa if i'm travelling by road?

I'm a pakistani national and I'm planning to visit China as a tourist by road via Karakoram Highway. My trip will be for less than a month and I've never been to China before. This article states that for a tourist visa i'll need to show a my bank statement, round-trip ticket and an invitation letter from a Chinese resident, now as i'm planning to go by road and I don't have any relative or friend living in China who could send me an invitation for this, so is it possible for me to get a L-Visa (tourist)?

For tourism in China, Pakistani nationals are encouraged to join a tourist group (more than 5 people), which should be arranged through a qualified local travel agency.

If you don't have a relative who lives or work in China, you can't get a tourist visa for family visit. Pakistani are not allowed to apply for an individual tourist visa to go to China for holidays.
