Do I need to make Physical examination in Spain or China?

I am going to work in China very soon. i applied for a Z visa and according to your website, the tests can be done in China. However, the chinese embassy in Madrid says that I must have them done in Spain before I go.

The China visa rule applies differently in different countries. In Spain, the embassy asks for the Physical examination for Z visa application, then you have to provide it. Please make Physical examination in Spain
