what are the visa requirments to visit china for travel purpose?

dear sir.good day..........my brother in law study in china in hubei province.i want to meet with him & see beatyful places in china with my wife,my tow sons,my father in law,mother in law &sister in law.we both are have indivisual passport.what document shud be needed about this ? pls reply me.

the requirements for China tourist visa application are:
1. Valid passport (at least six months before expiration) with blank visa pages and copy of the first three pages;
2. TYPED Visa Application Form V.2011A with one passport photo.
3. Applicants who have never been to China before should submit in person.
4. Invitation letters in Chinese language by individual/entity in China and six-month bank statement.

The invitation letter from your brother in law is useless for your application because he is just a student in China, he can't provide you the accommodation and financial assistance. You'd better contact a travel agency in China to send you an invitation letter.
