How much in advance can we book hard sleepers? We want to travel around the 30 Sept, 1 or 2 oct.

No matter what kind of seat/berth type train tickets, they are usually released for sale around 10 days before departure date. Since the tickets are always under great demand, you would better book them at least 10 days in advance.
