Can documents for a visa application be sent via courier to the Chinese Consulate in Sri Lanka?

I'm afraid the Chinese Consulate in Sri Lanka doesn't accept visa application through courier, applicants should go to the consulate to apply for the visa in person, and an interview may be also required for the application.0
