allowed to enter hongkong if I was denied on board before?

Hi! Would I be allowed to enter hongkong if I was denied on board before? i got the DOB when I tried to enter Hongkong from Macau last August 2008 and never told me the reason. Please reply asap as i'm planning to go there by next week. Thanks a lot!
