Please, can a student residence in Malaysia be switched to a tourist visa after the end of the studies? If so, how can it be done?Please, can I apply for a Chinese student visa from Malaysia, being in Malaysia with a tourist visa?

I'm not clear about the Malaysia visa issues. You should contact the related Malaysia offices for it. About the China student visa, you cannot get one from a third country if you are in the country with a tourist visa.
