Danish citizen - Canadian landed immigrant going to Beijing

I am a Danish citizen, but I live in Canada where I am a landed immigrant/permanent resident. I would like to go to Beijing on my way to Japan. Can I apply for a tourist visa in Canada or does it have to be done in Denmark?

Hi kristina,
I guess if you are danish passport holder but have a working permit for canada you should get your visa at chinese embassy in canada.
You can also travel to Hongkong and just at the airport you can get china mainland visa for about 130usd.You will have to stay in HONGKONG for a night and you will collect your visa the next day.and from there you can travel to china with a ferry boat or coaches for about5ousd. take care BASH

You are allowed to apply for the China tourism visa in Canada since you have Canadian permanent resident card.
