Do I need transit visa in China?

I will fly from Irkutsk (Russia) to Jakarta (Indonesia) - will change flight to Jakarta in Beijing. Do I need transit visa in China? My waiting time is less than 12 hours.

A transit visa is not required if you won't leave the airport during the less than 12 hours transit.

can,but you need to submit with the document that can show you are stay in airport and less than 24 hours.i advices you apply for tourist because this one entry can stay for 30 days,but transit just maximum 7days only,and price for both of them also same...
