About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

I'm Canadian, hold a single entry F visa for internship I just finished, can I return to Shanghai to catch flight after I visit Japan?

I'm Canadian, currently holding a business (F) single entry visa for the internship I just finished. I am flying back home from Pudong airport on Sept. 4th. I want to go visit Japan before leaving back home.. so I would come back to Pudong airport from Japan on Sept.3rd, then would like to go grab my stuff in the city and will leave to Canada from Pudong the next day. I am allowed to do this? Thank you

No, you are not allowed to do this. Once you leave China, your visa will be invalid and you'll need another visa to enter Shanghai to grab my stuff.

Well I thought Canadians have the right to go in Shanghai for 48 hours if they have a flight out...? That's the way I understand the rule. I know that my current visa will be invalid after I leave China.
