How do I get to Shenzhen Dongmen Pesdestrain No.1?

How to go to Dongmen Pesdestrain No.1 from Luohu border ? Understand is a good place to shop.
Is it better to shop at the Luohu border or go Dongmen ? I am bringing my 2 children , is it safe to shop there?
If I go on weekday, is it very crowded ?

At Luohu Border, you could find some large wholesale markets, and the Dongmen Street has more boutiques. Both of them are nice places for shopping. No matter whare you are, be careful with children.
From Luohu border, it is suggested that you hire a taxi driving to Dongmen with children.

How long is the journey if I take taxi from Luohu border to Dongmen ? How much is the fare ? Is it easy to get the taxi ? Understand we can take train there too ? How about the security there ?

you can take the metro from luohu. Its the name of the station is LaoJie. Yes its crowded be sure to take care of your children. Dongmen is a better shopping area than luohu

Hi Mr Quazar,

Thanks for your reply. Understand the MTR will be very crowded to Luohu. So in order to have seats in the train , shall I take the east rail line from Tsim Sha Tsui east rail to Luohu so that my children can have seats since this the 1st station. Understand the journey is around 1 hour. In fact , I plan to take a Kwoloon tong but think must be very crowded.

From downtown Hong Kong to Luohu border, you should take the KCR East Rail train at Hung Hom, which is its starting point.

So your coming from hongkong? I've only traveled once from hongkong to shenzhen and I took the Hunghom line to shenzhen, Tsim sha Tsui is connected to Honghum. Since it is the first station you will always be first thus having any seat of your choice. It is usually customary to give seats to children if the seats is occupied so even if you boarded a crowded train your children will likely be seated. Same goes for Luohu to Dongmen seating will not be a problem unless your going back to luohu from dongmen which is very crowded. I suggest you take the taxi instead since is much nearer and isn't worth the hassle. As for security its quite good but always be careful of pickpockets dont put unnecessary amounts of cash in your pocket and be careful of your mobile phones.
