About:China Visa Application Requirements

I am from the Philippines, do you still accept our green passport for China visa application?

I have been issued the green Philippine passport last May 2007 and it will expire on May 2012 yet. I wish to visit a relative in Shanghai for a week this October and I am wondering if my passport is still acceptable to you since a new brown e-passport is now being issued by our government.

you can still use your green passport for travel to China. All manual or Green Passports will remain valid until the stated date of expiry and are acceptable for use abroad. So, don't worry. But if you are still afraid about that, you can renew your passport into Machine Readable Passport prior to application.
