About:Chinese Embassy in UAE

I am a UK National and I have been asked to work in Dubai for 3 months. Can I apply Chinese visa in Dubai or Scotland?

I have booked a 12 day holiday from Scotland to China in November would it be possible for me to apply for my chinese visitors Visa in Dubai or would I have to send my passport home to get the Visa?

You have to apply for Chinese visa in Scotland, if you want to obtain China visa in Dubai, you have to have UAE resident visa valid for more than 6 months. (Excluding non-GCC applicants).
