About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

I am a Canadian citizen and live in Thailand on a retirement visa, where would I apply for a tourist visa?

You can apply for China tourist visa through China embassy in Bangkok, China Consulate in Chiang Mai or China Consulate in Songkhla. You have the Thai retirement visa, it can prove your legal status in Thailand.
