About:Dress Code in China

What should the mother of the groom wear to a wedding in China?

Our family is from America and his fiance's family is from China. Not sure what to expect. Was told that American weddings are more formal than Chinese.

Yes, less formal in China, generally being appropriate is okay. No problem to wear suits and formal dress. It is not rare and strange in cities.
