Is a Chinese visa in an old passport still valid?

I have a multi-entry visa for China that expires in December 2012 in my old US passport. The old US passport expired in January 2011. Is that Chinese visa still valid if I show both my old and new US passports? Or, do I have to transfer the Chinese visa to the new US passport?

Yes, Chinese visa is still valid if your show both your old and new US passports. Chinese embassy doesn't provide the service of transfer.
