About:China Embassy in Thailand

I'm UK citizen, can I get a 30 days Chinese Tourist Visa in Bangkok or HongKong?

We want to travel from the UK around the world and fly home from Beijing next September. As susch we cannot obtain Chinese Visas before travel (>90 days). What is the current position for obtaining a 30 day visa in (a) Bangkok or (b) Hongkong? And what happens if we are refused and cannot get to Beijing for our homeward flight?

For U.K. citizens, it is not hard for you to get a 30 days China tourist visa in Bangkok or Hong Kong, please show the flight ticket from Beijing to U.K., the previous flight tickets, the entry and exit records on your passport to prove you have travelled many countries and you can't apply for China visa in UK.

Please don't worry, you can get a China visa to go to Beijing for taking the homeward flight.
