how far did he go in europe(exact location?

Zhangqian didn't reach Europe in fact. He only made his way to Central Asia. His succession official, Ban Chao, once ordered his assistance to reach the mediterranean sea. It is said that he was asked to go to Italy but he returned when he just see the sea.
