My wife and I will be visiting the city from 20 Aug to 26 Aug 2011, kindly advise us on the weather condition during these period of time.

It is hot during August with a high temperature around 33C. Showers may happen unexpected. You need to wear summer cool clothes and remember to bring an umbrella with your anytime you go outside.
