About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

How many days during the national holiday will Chinese embassy in Kuala Lumpur be closed?

I plan on applying for a visa during the week of October 1, 2011 in Kuala Lumpur. I understand the visa center will be open, but the Chinese embassy will be closed during this time. I also understand the Chinese embassy makes the decision whether a visa can be issued, right? My question is if the embassy is closed will I still likely be able to get my visa within 4 working days during that week, or 3 if I do a rush service? Or will everything likely slow down a little bit because the embassy will be closed? How many days during the national holiday will the embassy be closed?

Mostly, Chinese embassy will be closed for China National holiday on October 3 and 4, on Monday & Tuesday. Consequently, your application will be delayed for two days in general. But make sure submit your application to the center on their working days (Monday to Friday). You can use their rush service if you need anyway. In addition, the validity of a single entry China visa is 3 months in general, you can apply one or two month earlier for safety.
