How to get from Holiday Inn Downtown Shanghai to Hongqiao Railway Station?

We are staying at Holiday Inn Downtown Shanghai and are catching G16 bullet train from Shanghai to Nanjing at 11am Sunday. What is the best way?

From the hotel, you can ealk about 5 minutes to Shanghai Railway Station, then take subway line 1 to People's Square and transfer to subway line 2 to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station.
