Hi,

My daughter is Chinese (from Shanghai) can I also get a one year residency because of her;even if i am divorced.

I also own property here in China.

You can try to get a one year residency permit, but the relationship certificate between you and your Chinese daughter is required, such as the Birth Certificate. The real estate with your name is also helpful for your application.

The first reply that I got from Betty was not precise enought, according to the new regulation, I should've able to get a family Visa, because of my daughter birth certificate, is that correct..?
