What is difference between the pulley and the cable car at badaling great wall?

I have a 3 yrs old child, can he take pulley or cable car? which one takes you to the north 8th tower? How long does it take to climb all the way to north 8th tower and then walk down (without pulley or cable car at all)? Is it hard to climb? Thanks!!

Hi, Vikie, you can see the last two of the Badaling Great Wall which are pulley and cable car. https://www.travelchinaguide.com/picture/china_great_wall/beijing/badaling/
Do not let your child take pulley, he is too small. You can take one and hold him in arms. Badaling is not very hard to climb but hard for a 3-year-old child. I took 1.5 hour to the North 8th Tower. The cable car reaches North 7th Tower and the pulley to North 4th Tower.
