About:Lijiang Travel

Is it Good or Bad to visit Lijiang on last week of DEC?

I'm plaining to Lijian & Shangri-la on this year 25 DEC 2011 - 2 JAN 2012. How about the wheather on this time? Can we visit to Mt. Jade Dragon?

Dec is the cold and humid winter in Lijiang and Shangri-la, not good time for adventure there. If possible, it is suggested that you delay the trip to the later warm spring.

The weather during this time is good to travel to Lijiang, most of the days are very sunny, very blue and clear sky.
Also nice to visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain that time,much snow there.
The best time to Lijiang is from March to May, warm,blue&clear sky,lots of flowers but few tourists;
good time to visit Lijiang: Nov to Feb, very good weather,few tourists but a little cold;
Bad time to visit Lijiang: Jun to early Oct, most of days are raining, cloudy and foggy,too many bus tours, no snow in the mountain.
